Cor Van Raay began farming in 1964 and soon after entered the cattle business. The business, which started with 50 head of cattle, has steadily matured ever since.

Cor Van Raay Farms Ltd. buys feeder cattle from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. These cattle enter the feedlot weighing 600 to 925 lbs and leave weighing 1350-1400 lbs. The process takes up to 220 days to complete.  After being sold, cattle are shipped to packing plants in Southern Alberta and to many parts of the United States. From these packing plants, the beef is distributed worldwide.

As part of our integrated feedlot and farm, Cor Van Raay Farms owns predominantly irrigated land. We grow barley and corn for silage for the feedlots, and cash crops like wheat and canola.

We are proud of the outstanding dedication and cooperation of our excellent employees.
